Therefore, polyphasic sleepers can usually not be dependent on the body to help manage the schedule.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Polyphasic sleepers must devise alarms to help them wake up.  Alram difficulties often snowball into horrible outcomes for the polyphasic sleeper.
